Day 4 - Giverny

On our travel day we stopped at Monet's house and gardens in the very cute little village of Giverny.  It was spectacular.  I would go again, and again.  I just recently saw some Fall color pictures of the garden on Instagram.  Amazing...

Not posed... they really smelled good!

The Food

When we got to the cute village of Giverny we were hungry so we stopped at a cute garden cafe.  I think this is I'm-hungry-so-put-the-camera-down but I'm not sure.

The sun's too bright, but the garden was cute.

We both got Saucisses, pommes de terre au four.  I'm sure you can figure it out.

We left Giverny and continued driving to the town in Normandy where we were staying, Bayeux.  We found a place to eat on the river, Le Moulin de la Galette.  This is where we discovered Galette - kind of a buckwheat crepe with savory goodies inside.

Cheese, sausage, pepperoni, peppers, and a fried egg!
